Wrong. Everyone thinks a massage has to be painful in order for it to do something. Everyone’s body is built and reacts differently to massage. You might need some light pressure first in order to go deeper into the muscles.
Wait about 24 hours before doing any vigorous exercises, such as running or weight lifting. Instead, try some yoga or light stretching.
My goal is to get you on a maintenance schedule. When you come in for an injury, we might see each other every week or every other week. I want to get you to the point where I am seeing you once a month. Remember, anything is better than nothing.
